It was created in 1999 to honor Foodland\u2019s founder, Maurice J. \u201cSully\u201d Sullivan to continue his legacy of giving back to the community. Normally donations are accepted ONLY during the month of September but the donation period has been extended to 9 pm, Friday, October 2.\r\n\r\nCustomers can donate up to $249 to their favorite non-profit organization and Foodland will match a portion of your donation.  This is a great way to increase the value of your donation.  Taiko Arts Center, a 501c3 non-profit organization, participates in the \u201cGive Aloha\u201d program.  Please consider making a donation to TAC this September.  TAC\u2019s \u201cGive Aloha\u201d code is 78462.\r\n\r\nYou must have a Ma\u2019ika\u2019i card in order for Foodland to make the matching gift.  If you do not have a Ma\u2019ika\u2019i card, you can simply apply for one at the cash register.  The Ma\u2019ika\u2019i card also gives you great discounts at Foodland supermarkets.
