Taiko Arts Center, a 501c3 non-profit organization, is participating in Foodland’s “Give Aloha” – a community matching gifts program. From September 1-30, customers can make a donation up to $249 per person per participating Hawaii non-profit organization at Foodland and/or Sack N’ Save check-out counters. Foodland and Western Union will match a portion of your donation which increases the monetary value of your donation. You must use your Mai’ka’i card to make the donation. If you don’t have a Mai’ka’i card, you can easily sign up for one for free. The Mai’ka’i card gives you many discounts on items purchased at Foodland and Sack N Save stores. Donations made without the Mai’ka’i card will NOT be matched. Your donation is tax-deductible to the full extent of the law. Please help Taiko Arts Center support Taiko by donating today!

Mochi/Manju Fundraiser
TAC is selling mochi and manju from Hilo’s famous Two Ladies Kitchen to raise funds for taiko educational programs, scholarships, creation of new work, and more. Boxes of strawberry mochi and assorted mochi/manju are available. Please buy or help us sell these special treats!
