“Give Aloha” is Foodland’s Annual Community Matching Gifts Program. It was created in 1999 to honor Foodland’s founder, Maurice J. “Sully” Sullivan to continue his legacy of giving back to the community. Normally donations are accepted ONLY during the month of September but the donation period has been extended to 9 pm, Friday, October 2. Customers can donate up to $249 to their favorite non-profit organization and Foodland will match a portion of your donation. This is a great way to increase the value of your donation. Taiko Arts Center, a 501c3 non-profit organization, participates in the “Give Aloha” program. Please consider making a donation to TAC this September. TAC’s “Give Aloha” code is 78462. You must have a Ma’ika’i card in order for Foodland to make the matching gift. If you do not have a Ma’ika’i card, you can simply apply for one at the cash register. The Ma’ika’i card also gives you great discounts at Foodland supermarkets. Just tell the cashier that you want to make a “Give Aloha” donation to Taiko Arts Center. Supporters can also make donations ONLINE!!!! Please visit: https://shop.foodland.com/shop/give_aloha/d/21920225 Since Taiko Arts Center is a 501c3 non-profit organization, your donation is tax-deductible to the full extent of the law! Yea! Yea!
