Taiko Arts Center is selling Strawberry Mochi ($11), Assorted Mochi/Manju ($9) and Mixed Fresh Fruit Mochi ($10) from Hilo’s famous Two Ladies Kitchen to support taiko classes, workshops, scholarships, school and community outreach, youth programs, composition, collaboration, and more. Developing the Next Generation of Taiko Artists – Update!

Under Mayor Kirk Caldwell and the Mayor’s Office of Culture and the Arts’ generous support of the “Developing the Next Generation of Taiko Artists” project,” Taiko Center of the Pacific Youth Group performed two world premiere in “Ten Ten” Kenny Endo’s 40th anniversary celebration concert.
