The Taiko Path, a residency at Lanai School supported in part by the Lanai Foundation.

 Classical and Contemporary Japanese Drumming project supported in part by Mayor Kirk Caldwell’s Office of Culture & the Arts featuring Saburo Mochizuki with a special commission for “Samurai,” a composition by Yuu Ishizuka, contemporary Tokyo taiko artist.

2012

“Midnight Moon” a commission for the Taiko Drums and Dance project at the University of Hawaii supported in part by Mayor Kirk Caldwell’s Office of Culture & the Arts. Music composed by Kenny Endo, with dance choreographed by Peggy Adams.

Waimea Cherry Blossom Festival and National Cherry Blossom Festival in Washington DC celebrating the 100th year anniversary of Japan’s donation of 3000 cherry trees to the US supported in part by the Japan Foundation Los Angeles.

Taiko and West African Drumming project, a collaboration between Taiko and Sabar supported in part by Mayor Kirk Caldwell’s Office of Culture & the Arts featuring Kenny Endo (taiko) and Kapono Ciotti (West African drums).

“Uncommon Time,” a collaboration of taiko, Indian tabla, and Afro-Caribbean percussion) supported in part by a MAP grant.

Taiko and Bharatanatyam, a collaboration between Taiko and South Indian Percussive Dance supported in part by the Mayor Mufi Hanneman’s Office on Culture & the Arts Production Grant featuring Kenny Endo (Taiko) and Sonia Sironen (Bharatanatyam).

2008

“Rhythm Summit,”  a taiko and jazz collaboration supported in part by the Mayor Mufi Hanneman’s Office on Culture & the Arts Production Grant featuring Noel Okimoto (drumset, vibraphone), Dean Taba (bass), and Kenny Endo (taiko)

Taiko Center of the Pacific Youth Group’s Taiko Exchange and Performance Tour to Japan (workshops with Hono Daiko, Gojinjo Daiko, Amanojaku) and exchanges and performances on the Noto peninsula.
